We had a great last night in Rome enjoying the ancient sights in a different glow. After breakfast we headed to Florence on a train where Scott got to sit next to a darling elderly nun!
Today we have awed at the striking beauty of the classic Tuscan landscape. We loaded up (well, as much as we can) on fresh fruit, veggies, bread and cheese at the central market which we have enjoyed while piazza hopping and sightseeing. Thankfully the rain lasted only through our train ride and the rest of the day we spent under the Tuscan sun.
