We are Scott and Savanah (Nisbett) Landerholm. Here’s a little bit about our journey together:
In the fall of 2011, we served with World Gospel Missions in Honduras, and in the spring of 2012, we volunteered with Foundations in Christ Ministries in Ireland. Through these opportunities, we lived and worked with missionaries and nationals. We were excited about the privilege of assisting these existing ministries while exploring God’s call on our lives. In Honduras, we worked at Escuela El Sembrador, a boys’ boarding school, where Scott worked on the farm as a cowboy and built relationships with the boys while playing soccer. Savanah used her international communications and journalism degree to create promotional materials in English. In Ireland, we worked in a coffee house ministry, built strong friendships with our coworkers, and learned more about lifestyle evangelism.
After spending a month backpacking Europe and attending Scott’s brother’s wedding in Hungary, we headed back to the States. We are both attending graduate school at Baylor University. Scott studies Exercise Physiology and Savanah studies International Journalism. Our travels settled us in Texas for a bit, but right now we are on a short adventure to Barcelona, Spain. Savanah is interning at the International Chamber of Commerce, which is the final component she needs to complete her master’s degree.
