This morning we woke up before the sun to ascend Carrauntoohil–the highest point in Ireland. I doubted my abilities to summit, but with constant encouragement from Scott and my Dad (and an outstretched hand here and there), we made it to the top and back down safely in 5 1/2 hours. On the hike we hit just about every kind of weather–rain, hail, snow and sun! This picture is about the half way point- beyond this was all overcast.
I am so glad you all made it.
What a beautiful picture.
Wow, you’ve made a quite a dent toward your walking goal!
That’s awesome! What an accomplishment, Savy! And dad can check another high point off of his list.
Impressive!
