We started early (and as we just sprung forward today, it was especially early). The sun was out, the birds were chirping, and the water was rushing as we walked to an early service at St. Nicholas’ church. Though the promise of a pretty day was there, it was hard to be certain that the clouds wouldn’t roll in and there was still quite a chill in the air.
However, the day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous proved by the literally hundreds of people walking the prom (the walkway along the bay). People were shedding their jackets to soak up the rare rays of sun. Scott and I got down to our short sleeves and actually got hot as we were walking! With the sun on our cheeks and ice cream in hand, it was officially a beautiful day in good ole Galway!
