A week ago on Tuesday it was Valentine’s Day. Scott and I had gone out the night before to celebrate 6 months of marriage, so we decided we would rather share Valentine’s dinner with some friends (plus, we had plenty of food). But, after a good night of talking and watching Sleepless in Seattle, we decided it would be fun to get together on Tuesdays for dinner. So, we formed a club!
Tuesday night, we gathered again and since it happened to be Mardi Gras, we celebrated cajun style with some meatless gumbo! Throughout the night we shared more of our likes, dislikes, experiences, played games, and laughed a lot.
Our staff just took the Love Language quiz (developed by Gary Chapman) and the majority of the group came out with Quality Time as their top language of receiving love. Someone joked that we get a lot of that since we work together every day. Well, at least we get a lot of time. To me, our Tuesday night dinner club was quality time at its best.
